Product Name The Clipper model 395.
Manufacturer and Year WASP Pen Co. Inc. -- circa 1936-40. WASP was a sub-brand of Sheaffer, created in the 1930s.
Length 4-15/16".
Filling System Lever filler. We've fully restored it with a new sac and it's working very well.
Color Black with gold plated trim and with gold end pieces. The gold clip has a pattern of three "V's" at the top.
Nib FINE no-flex WASP #7 gold nib is smooth with lovely tipping material. The nib is engraved "WASP, Writes Two Ways, Made in U.S.A, #7.
Condition Excellent condition with no cracks. The section is in excellent condition but with low visibility in the see-through area. The barrel is has some light scratching especially around the imprint and horizontally where the cap fits over the barrel. The trim was fairly thin to begin with, and shows general light plating wear. The imprint on the barrel is clear. The pen is personalized, "N.D. Stedman". The clip has microscratches especially at the end. The pen is shiny and elegant.
