Filling System Vac-fil system. We've fully restored and tested it, and it's working very well. We guarantee the filling system for a year from the date of purchase. The pencil extends and retracts the lead by twisting the cap. It takes 0.9mm leads.
Color Brown body and cap, gold plated or gold filled trim. Black section with a yellowish viewing window. White dot above clip on the pen; the pencil is not a white dot model.
Nib FINE Sheaffer's two-tone 14k gold Triumph nib. Some of the masking has been polished away on the front of the nib, but this does not affect the pen's performance.
Condition Excellent + condition, in vintage Sheaffer's box. No cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a nice-sized set in a very pleasant color and in a classic design. The fountain pen has the original clip tag. The cap and barrel have light scratching. The cap band and clip have microscratches. The clip has some light plating wear along the sides. The white dot is excellent. The imprints are crystal clear. The pencil also has the original hangtag. There is light handwear on the body, similar to the pen. The clip looks excellent, with no brassing or plating wear. The nose cone looks great. The imprints are clear. The box has some wear along the edges, but is in nice shape.
