Nib FINE fully flexible Warranted U.N. Co. 14k nib. Very soft with excellent line variation. There is at least one crack inside the diamond-shaped logo on the nib, but the crack does not extend to any of the nib edges or the breather hole, and when you flex the nib this area is not involved. Please do not pull the nib and reset it, as we do feel that this process would stress the area with the crack and possibly make the nib unusable, and doing so would prevent you from being able to return the pen for a refund. Please see writing sample below.
Condition Very nice condition with no cracks or chips. This is a long, eye-catching eyedropper fountain pen with beautiful floral and squares pattern guilding. The gold overlay has brassing on areas of the cap and barrel, which are hard to see. There is also some plating wear, particularly near the end of the barrel above the black end piece and along the edge of the top of the cap. There appear to be some small dents but this could be the hammering required to shape the gold. The black hard rubber is dark, retaining its original color. There is a spiral scratch on the blind cap. There are no imprints.
