Blotter System After writing whatever with your fountain pen or wet rollerball, lower the blotter onto your page. Then grip the handle of the blotter and move it back and forth in a rocking motion over your words, careful not to drag or smear. Lift the rocker blotter straight off the page. The blotter comes fitted with a thick sheet of blotting paper, but it has been used. To replace it, unscrew the knob on the top and replace the blotter paper. It can hold a few layers of blotter paper.
Color Brown leather with gold floral edging along the sides and with gold outlining and decor along the top. One of the blotter sides includes an imprint, Ovington, New York.
Condition Excellent condition. The blotter has been used and there are dings on the leather. The gold decorations are nicely intact as is the imprint. The blotting page has been used. We've photographed how it looks.
