Nib FLEXIBLE FINE Waterman's Ideal New York nib. It's in excellent condition with good tipping, feels smooth on paper, and flexes easily from a fine line to a broad or double broad. with a little pressure. Very respectable flex though maybe not full flex. See writing sample below.
Condition Excellent condition with some light wear. There are consistent marks on the barrel and cap that create a nice effect in the sterling, but could be polished out if desired. Some of the etchings are smoothed out. Small dents on the reeding at the end of the barrel. The hard rubber underneath the filigree is quite nice, and doesn't look especially discolored. There are no chips or cracks, and all of the imprints appear to be quite crisp and readable. No personalization. It's restored and working very well.
