Product Name Model 52 1/2 V (marked on the end of the pen barrel).
Manufacturer and Year Waterman, made in USA – circa 1920s.
Length 4-1/4".
Filling System Lever filler. We've restored it with a new sac and it's working very well.
Color Black chased hard rubber with nickel plated trim, a ring top cap, and a groove instead of a cap band.
Nib FINE gold Waterman's IDEAL #2 nib is smooth and springy with nice tipping material. Flexible, but not full flex.
Condition Excellent condition. The chasing on the barel is slightly smoothed down, but still easily visible. The color is slightly faded; it's still fairly dark, though there is a distinct line when the cap is removed. The plating is worn off of the ringtop hardware. The lever looks good. Chasing on the cap is crisp. A couple of small bite marks at the end of the barrel, as well as some scratching from posting the cap. The imprints are strong. No cracks or chips, dings or dents, or personalization.
