Product Name Model 55. This is a good sized pen, verging on the oversized when compared with the standard sized pens of the day.

Filling System Lever filler. We've restored it with a new sac and it's working very well.
Color Red ripple hard rubber cap, barrel, and feed with gold plated trim.
Nib FINE flexible Waterman's Ideal #5 nib. It's smooth and springy. It writes with enough flex to be considered almost fully flexible. It varies between fine and double broad easily and with careful writing can achieve some extra-fine lines. See the writing sample below.
Condition Excellent condition. The plating is flaking and bubbled around the top edges of the clip. The ball end of the clip also has plating wear and brassing, as does the cap band. There are shallow tooth marks at the top of the cap. The barrel looks good with bright color and sharp contrast. The lever and lever box both have brassing and plating wear. The imprints are slightly faded but still quite readable. No cracks, chips, or personalization. It's fully restored and working well.
