Product Description
Type Vintage fountain pen
Product Name Model 94
Manufacturer and Year Waterman, made in U.S.A. -- 1930-8
Length 5"
Filling System Lever filler. We have replaced the bladder and it works very well.
Color Grey marble with red bits. The trim is nickel plated.
Nib The nib is marked "Waterman's IDEAL 4 ". It is nicely flexible with good ink flow. See writing sample below.
Condition Excellent condition with no chips, personalization or major scratches. Less than typical wear to the thin plating; the worst is the lever, and a couple of spots at the top of the clip. There's a thin crack in the cap to the left of the clip (see photo) stemming from where the clip attaches, so we caution against putting pressure on the clip, even though it is firmly attached and not wiggly. The imprints are very good. Nicely flexible nib that will give you a lovely writing experience.
