Product Description
Type Cartridge fill fountain pen and "Fluid Lead" pencil set
Product Name CF for "cartridge filler"
Manufacturer and Year Waterman, France, 1950s
Length Fountain pen is 5-1/4". The ballpoint is a little shorter, 5-1/16".
Filling System Here's the challenge with Waterman CFs: the cartridges and converters are no longer made and are close to impossible to find. There are three dried out cartridges in the box. (To use these pens, most modern day owners resort to refilling the cartridges with a syringe)
The "Fluid Lead" pencil is similarly handicapped by requiring a no-longer made style of refill.
Color Shiny steel caps, gold plated trim, black bodies.
Nib 14k "Fine Flex"nib, according to the chalk mark on the barrel. We wouldn't really call it flexible though, it's just springy at best.
Condition Superior condition, in box with paperwork and extra (dried-out) cartridges. Original chalk mark on barrel of fountain pen. No dents or scratches. Very shiny. The nib is in excellent condition.
