Color The "Persian" color was originally a swirled mixture of pearl, pink, and light green celluloid, and featured a black section and cap lip, as well as chrome plated trim. This celluloid was also notorious for not retaining its color over time, and this one is no exception. Much of the color has aged to more of a caramel brown shade, with just the very top of the cap closer to a warm pearly shade.
Nib MEDIUM nib is a 14k gold Waterman IDEAL rigid nib.
Condition Very Nice condition. As is common with these Waterman celluloids, there is a pair of cracks mid-cap, which can be seen in some of the close-up photos. There is also discoloration, as mentioned above (see photos) and some handwear on the cap and barrel. There is brassing and dots of plating wear on the lever, as well as on the clip and cap band. There is light scratching and marks on the chrome-plated end piece of the cap.
