Color The "Onyx" color is comprised of ivory celluloid with red veins (the "ivory" has darkened to a medium chestnut brown color and the "red" looks more like burgundy). Red section, feed, cap lip and ends. Gold plated trim, including a pierced lattice patterned 1/4" wide cap band.
Nib FINE FLEXIBLE Waterman's Ideal Patrician nib. It has very nice hairlines, and fantastic line variation with very little pressure. Please see the writing sample below.
Condition Excellent condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. The color is quite dark, with still-visible veining. The cap and barrel have light to moderate scratching. The barrel has horizontal capping lines. The clip has slight plating wear on the edges. The cap band looks fantastic, with very little brassing and no plating wear. The red hard rubber portions are in great shape. The imprint is clear.
