Product Description
Type Fountain Pen
Product Name Stalwart .... at least we think it is a Stalwart. It's a full size pen, but we are used to seeing Stalwarts with a single thin band, and this has two. The cap matches what we see on Commandos, but the overall pen is shorter than a Commando.
Manufacturer and Year Waterman, USA, late 1940s
Length More or less full size -- 5"
Filling System Lever filler - excellent working condition with a new sac installed here at PSP.
Color Black with gold plated trim.
Nib FINE nib is marked "Watermans IDEAL 14k Firm".
Condition Excellent condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a velvety black, shiny pen in a nice size. The cap and barrel have mainly light scratching. The barrel has marks caused by the cap lip. The cap bands have microscratching. The upper band is slightly warped and has a few small areas of pitting. The clip looks great, with just some microscratching. The disc at the top of the cap has plating wear. The imprints are clear.
