Condition Very nice condition with no cracks, chips, or dents. This is a small-sized pen in a pretty color pattern and with good shine. The cap and barrel have light to moderate scratching. The barrel has light marks caused by the cap lip and some marks at the end. The cap has surface wear below the cap band. The gold plating is gone from the rivet that secures the clip, and there is some pitting there as well. The sides of the clip are brassed, but the rest of the plating looks pretty good. There is a tiny chip out of the tipping on the top side of the nib, which you can see in the nib shot close-up. The underside looks good, and you should have no problem writing with the pen in a normal orientation, though upside-down isn't going to work so well. The imprints on both the cap and barrel are clear.
