Nib Medium-Fine italic 14k gold Diamond Medal #2 nib is very smooth with nice tipping. The imprint is very clear. See writing sample.
Condition Very nice condition. The trim plating looks very intact. Just hints of brassing around the edges. There's a couple tiny marks on the cap band. The color is consistent and a nice blue. The red filling on the imprint is partially faded but the barrel imprint is still legible. There is a crack on the cap lip which you can see in the photo below. There's a slight scratch above the lever and the barrel is a bit rough in texture beneath the section from the cap. It's been personalized, "Carmen." The ring does not move but is firmly attached. It's fully restored and working well.
