Color Black chased hard rubber with a wide barrel band measuring just over 3/4". The barrel band has a detailed signet. The band commemorates the 1913 annual banquet of the Lieutenants Benevolent Association, an NYPD group, at the Waldorf Astoria hotel in New York City and an emblem used by the group at the time.
Nib EXTRA FINE FLEXIBLE #3 ALCo 14k nib. It has good line variation with strong contrast between a wet broad and an extra fine. The nib was made by Aikin Lambert, who supplied nibs to a lot of small pen makers. Please see the writing sample below.
Condition Excellent + condition. The chasing is great with strong visual and textural presence. The black hard rubber has lightened a little on the cap and a little more on the barrel though both are still dark. There are shallow bite marks on the end of the barrel. It's working very well.
