Product Description
Type Restored lever filling fountain pen.
Product Name Slim Ventura cap, but the body and nib looks like a Symphony (lever version). We've seen this combination before, so we think it's something the company put together out of left-over parts at the end of Eversharp's life.
Manufacturer and Year Eversharp, made in USA - 1953-7
Length 5-5/16"
Filling System Lever filler (this model was also made as an aerometric filler). We replaced the sac and it's working very well.
Color Burgundy barrel with a gold filled or plated cap and trim. The cap has a pattern of lines around it.
Nib FLEXIBLE MEDIUM 14k nib is in great condition, smooth with plenty of tipping. Almost fully flexible with line variation from medium to double broad under just a little pressure.... this looks like the big Symphony nibs we see on model 917.
Condition Excellent + condition with just a little plating wear on the top of the cap and just a tiny bit of wear on the edges of the clip. No brassing or real wear on the lever. There are a few very light scratches on the cap, and just light handwear on the barrel. No cracks or chips, dings or dents. It's restored and working very well.
