Product Description
Type cartridge/converter filling Japanese fountain pen.
Product Name Sailor Jubilee 50th Anniversary. It came in blue, red, black, and full aluminum. MSRP of the plastic barreled models was 2000 yen. The plastic barrels were imprinted "Jubilee" since this one is fully aluminum plated, it is unmarked.
Manufacturer and Year Sailor, Japan -- 1961.
Length 5-1/2".
Filling System Takes Sailor-style cartridges and converters. Due to the shape of the barrel, sometimes converters get stuck. We recommend using cartridges and as such are shipping the pen with two new cartridges.
Color Anodized aluminum cap and barrel with black section. The whole pen has a somewhat triangular twist shape to it with triangular facets at the top of the cap and the end of the barrel, but a smooth section, top of barrel, and end of cap.
Nib BROAD 14k nib. The nib is labeled 14k and looks like a broad. It is a springy nib. The feed is a bit misaligned with the nib, but the ink flows well.
Condition Very Nice condition. The pen has a few dents and several scratches, some of which go through the finish. It's still nicely shiny and works well. Ships in modern Sailor box with cartridges.
