Type Vintage fountain pen and mechanical pencil in solid 14k gold filigree
Product Name 552 1/2 LEC (According to Waterman's numberbering system, the first 5 stood for the 14k overlay cap and barrel, the second 5 stood for the lever filling system, and the final 2 was for the #2 nib. The 1/2 indicated it was a slender model. LEC means that the lower end of the barrel was also encased in gold.)

Filling System Lever filled fountain pen -- we have re-sacked it and tested it. The pencil takes "thick" 1.1mm leads.
Color Solid 14k gold in a basketweave pattern over black hard rubber. It's marked 14k in several places.
Nib 14k medium-fine flexible nib .... not a wet noodle but almost full flex. Excellent condition with good amount of tipping material.

Gorgeous! No dents, dings or scratches. Very light wear. Excellent black color to the exposed hard rubber areas.

Personalized "Ed Avedon" on both pen and pencil.
