Filling System Lever filler. We've put a new ink sac in the pen and the filling system works.
Color The "Nacre" color is comprised of ivory and black celluloid. Chrome (or perhaps steel) plated trim.
Nib FINE. Huge gold Waterman Patrician nib. The nib is firm and in excellent condition.
Condition User grade, with typical discoloration (worse on barrel than cap). The body and cap are free of cracks and chips, but there are some indentations near the top of the barrel and signs of use and scratches throughout. The clip has a hump in it, the result of trying to bring the tip of the clip back in contact with the cap. The plating is gone on the band, leaving all brass. The plating on the clip and lever is intact. with edge-brassing on the clip and a little pitting or scratches. Complete and legible imprint. The emblem on the end of the barrel is in great shape, but it is gold colored, so it's either brassed or a replacement. Still, a very impressive-looking pen overall with a great nib and new sac. Ready to write.
