Product Description
Type Fountain pen
Product Name Ecridor Retro
Manufacturer and Year Caran d'Ache, Switzerland -- Relatively recent but is not the current version of this model. It might have been a European version, as most versions sold in the USA had steel nibs.
Length 5-3/8"
Filling System Takes international style cartridges and converters. A working piston converter is installed. Please be aware that since the pen has a narrow barrel some converters fit better than others.
Color Barleycorn patterned hexagonal faceted cap and barrel. It's rhodium plated and meant to echo the design on the 1947 mechanical pencils. The clip states the maker and maker location and the base of the clip attached to the clip says, "Clip Metal."
Nib Fine 18k nib.
Condition Excellent condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a monochromatic, slim, industrial-looking pen in a great design. The cap and barrel have some small micro-scratches. The top of the cap has plating wear along the edges. All imprints are clear.
