Filling System The fountain pen is a lever filler. We replaced the bladder and it is working well. The mechanical pencil takes "thick" or 1.1mm leads that extend and retract via twist mechanism. There is an eraser beneath the cap.
Color Marbled burgundy. It is a lovely medium burgundy color with gold plated trim including a trio of bands, with 2 narrow bands on either side of a medium band. The fountain pen has black pieces in the ends and the section.
Nib Fine Flexible 14k Conway Stewart nib. See our writing sample in the photos.
Condition Excellent + condition. Both pieces have light wear, and great color. The fountain pen has microscratching on the cap and barrel. The cap bands look great, with some touches of brassing on the middle band. The clip has brassing, with heavier brassing around the clip ring. The lever has small dots of plating wear on the side. The mechanical pencil is also in great shape. The clip has brassing and some plating wear. The triple bands have brassing along the edges. The cone has brassing, but no plating wear or dents or dings. Both pieces are working well with clear imprints and no personalization.
