Color Black with gold plated sterling silver motives. It has a transparent green viewing section and gold plated trim.
Nib 18k gold fine nib. It seems soft.
Condition Very nice condition. The cap looks worn, and has a 1" crack that starts at the crown and runs almost parallel to the clip. Brassing on the top edge of the crown. Light handwear on the black parts of the pen and some signs of usage in the ink viewing window. Some of the gold plating has worn away on the barrel, which we've shown in the pictures below. The matte finish is even and the imprints are very sharp.
We've priced the pen to reflect the wear and defects; normally we'd price a lightly used Pelikan Toledo 700 around $650. Cosmetic flaws aside, this pen should give you a lovely writing experience.
