Product Description
Type One-of-a-kind fountain pen made in custom PSP alumilite and fitted with a new (but vintage) 14k nib
Product Name This is one of our prototypes, no name for the model
Manufacturer and Year Peyton Street Pens, nib was made by Eversharp in the lates 1940s or early 1950s
Length 6", 5-1/2" without the cap, 6-3/4" posted (it posts well). .46" section/grip.
Filling System Blow-filler. It's a simple filling process: put the nib in ink, and blow in the hole in the end of the barrel. (Surprsing little pressure is actually required.) Leave the nib in the ink for a few seconds, pull it out and wipe off any excess ink on the section. The pen is then ready to write. You don't need to unscrew the barrel, but if you did you'd see a simple rubber sac which will be easy to maintain and replace if it ever wears out. We don't recommend squeezing the sac directly to fill it, just because this puts wear-and-tear on the shellac which secures the sac to the section.
Color "Parakeet" alumilite, a unique combination of peacock blue, green, and yellow-green alumilite with nice iridescence, cast by Peyton Street Pens. Peyton Street Pen emblem on top of cap that picks up the peacock blue color.
Nib EXTRA FINE. 14k manifold Eversharp nib, from the Symphony 917 models. Brand new, never used except to set-up and test.
