Nib FLEXIBLE EXTRA FINE Waterman's Ideal nib. It's gold, with nice tipping remaining, very flexible, almost full flex. You'll notice some bends in the nib tines in the photos. When the pen came to us the tines were bent back a bit and we were concerned that we could not return them to the proper position. We were able to do so, and it writes quite well, but you'll still see a little ripple about halfway from the tip to the breather hole .... let that be a reminder to you not to over flex your nibs! This one was just a teensy bit of pressure away from being wrecked by the previous user.
Condition Very nice condition. No cracks, and just a tiny chip out of the edge of the cap. A few bite marks and marks from cap posting There's brassing on the trim, along the edges of clip and band. The clip sits just a tiny bit away from the cap, so it doesn't clip firmly, but it should do fine clipping onto fabric. The imprints are clear, and the pen is working well.
