Product Description
Type Combination lever filling fountain pen and mechanical pencil, restored and working well.
Product Name Unknown, it has an Arnold Durium nib.
Manufacturer and Year The nib is by Arnold, though we're not sure if the pen was made by them as well, as their clip style is usually different from the Arnold pens we've seen. Arnold did make combos. Probably made in the 1930s.
Length 5-11/16-inches.
Filling System The fountain pen side is a lever filler which we have restored with a new sac. The pencil end takes 1.1mm (or "Thick") leads, which extend by twisting the cone. We'll include a small packet of leads for the pencil.
Color Green and black finish in a loosely checkered pattern. Gold plated trim with an arrow-shaped clip and two black lines around the cap band.
Nib FINE Arnold Durium nib with gold plating on part of it. It's smooth and fairly firm with a nice tip shape.
Condition Excellent conditon. No cracks or chips, dings, dents, or personalization. There are some small marks on the cap and barrel, and minor plating wear on the trim. We've restored the pen part, and both it and the pencil mechanism are working very well.
