Product Name Aurora 88 Piston Filler.
Manufacturer and Year Aurora, Italy -- Current Production. Aurora has been making the 88 for a number of years and it has changed quite a lot since its original as a semi-hooded Parker 51 competitor.
Length 5-3/8", we consider this the standard size but it is actually called "large." (There's a smaller and more slender version of the modern 88.)
Filling System Piston filler.
Color Black resin with silver colored trim. Aurora calls it "Nikargenta" and it is a silver and nickel alloy. The barrel has a band next to the piston knob and two bands on the edges of the viewing window. The cap has a 1/4" cap band.
Nib 14k Medium Italic nib. The feed lacks the label for what the nib originally started as but we think it is the factory italic nib. See the writing sample below.
Condition Superior condition. The resin has very light handwear only. No scratches, chips, or dents. The piston turns well. No box or paperwork.
