Filling System Sleeve filler system. The end of the barrel unscrews to expose a squeeze bar over a sac. It's somewhat like an aerometric filler or a squeeze converter in usage. We have replaced the sac and it's working well. NOTE: when we received the pen, it had a gold press bar, which was glued or shellacked to the ink sac and not otherwise attached to anything. Not fully understanding the reason behind the attachment, and frankly not trusting it, we replaced it with a different press bar, which is not adhered to the sac. We are including the original gold press bar with the pen.
Color Black acrylic with a large blind cap that matches the cap. Both pieces have large cap bands. It has gold plated trim.
Nib Fine 18k nib. It's two tone and size #5.
Condition Excellent condition. Light handwear and microscratching. There are tiny touches of brassing along the edges of the cap bands. The imprints are crisp and clear. Ships in Bexley box with outer cardboard sleeve and paperwork.
