Manufacturer and Year Conklin, Toledo Ohio. Circa 1920s.
Length Just over 5-5/8" (oversized).
Filling System Lever filler. We've restored it with a new sac and it's working very well.
Color Black chased hard rubber with gold trim. 1/2" gold cap band.
Nib FINE FLEXIBLE #7 Toledo Nib. There is a hairline crack at the base of the nib, where it enters the section. Please see writing sample.
Condition Excellent + condition for this oversized pen that has mellowed in color to a dark chocolate brown. The chasing is in superior condition and the pen is shiny and impressive. The wide cap band looks fantastic with just a small ping along the upper edge. The lever has some light plating wear along the edges and some light scratching. The clip has some wear along the sides but overall it is very beautiful, retaining its deep gold color. The imprints are clear.
