Product Description
Type Lever filling vintage fountain pen, fully restored.
Product Name Endura (the imprint is clear on the barrel).
Manufacturer and Year Conklin, Toledo Ohio – this line of pens began circa 1924.
Length Just over 5-1/4" (oversized model).
Filling System Lever filler. We've restored it with a new sac and it's working very well. We guarantee the filling system for a year from the date of purchase.
Color Black with gold-plated trim. There are some grooves around the barrel that were originally painted yellow, though much of the color has worn away.
Nib FINE Gold nib marked Conklin Endura. It is semi-flexible, and gives line variation from fine to broad. Endura nibs are usually very firm, so this is rather uncommon. See writing sample below.
Condition Excellent condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is an oversize pen in the always-classic black with gold trim. The cap and barrel have light to moderate wear and scratching. There is brassing on the cap band. The clip has areas of brassing at the top and bottom, but no plating wear or pitting. The grooves around cap and barrel, which were originally colored yellow, have lost much of their original color, though some still remains. The imprints are slightly worn, but still clear.
