Color We think this is a light colored version of "Mahogany" as it is not shown on our Conklin reference book. It is a red and black hard rubber pen woodgrain pattern. It has some grooves as an extra design element and a 3/16" cap band. The trim is gold filled.
Nib Medium Conklin Toledo nib writes smoothly. The nib is firm.
Condition Excellent + condition. No cracks or chips, dings, or dents. The barrel imprint is a little faint but still legible. The lever imprint is clear. The color is strong. The clip has small dots of brassing at both ends. We've restored the pen and it's working very well.
