Filling System Lever filler. We replaced the bladder and it is working well.
Color Marbled blue design, probably casein. It is a mix of gray-toned to midnight blues. The section is black. The cap jewel is brushed steel and looks like it is a replacement for the original that would have been black. The cap has a three-part cap band with a 1/8" band sandwiched between two thin bands. The trim is gold filled.
Nib Flexible Medium 14k Conway Stewart "Duro" nib. See the writing sample below. Moderate flex with line variation from fine to broad.
Condition Excellent condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. Plating wear is the main condition issue. The pen is a nice size and has deep coloration and good shine and feel. The barrel has marks caused by the cap lip, a few small scratches at the end. The lever has plating wear and pitting along the edges. The clip has plating wear and some pitting along the edges. The cap bands are really beautiful. The imprint is clear.
