Filling System Fountain pen takes Parker cartridges, or you can fill it with bottled ink. A cartridge will be included. The pencil takes .9mm leads.
Color Black section and barrels with gold caps - there's no hallmark or indication of gold content. The cap has a parallel lines pattern, gold filled trim, and a conical tassie.
Nib MEDIUM 14k nib made in the USA. There is an "M" mark on the feed. Firm and smooth, with excellent tipping material.
Condition Excellent condition for the fountain pen; Superior condition for the pencil, in box. This is a beautiful, shiny set that is elegant. The fountain pen barrel has light to moderate scratching, with the more moderate scratching mainly near the end. The cap has microscratching, plating wear along the cap lip and top edge and some small blotches of plating wear elsewhere on the cap. The clip has microscratching. There's a small chip out of the end of the barrel. The mechanical pencil looks fantastic with just some dots of plating wear along the edge of the tassie and at the top of the clip. The imprints are clear on both pieces.
