Length Fountain pen is 4-7/8" long, and pencil is 4-13/16" (This is the Lady version.)
Filling System Lever filler - working perfectly with a new sac. The pencil takes thick 0.9mm leads.
Color Ebonized Pearl - black celluloid embedded with "floating" pieces of mother of pearl looking stuff. 3/8" wide jeweler's bands. Gold plated trim. The color is quite a nice for the ebonized pearl pattern.
Nib FINE Lifetime nib. Firm and smooth, with good tipping material.
Condition Excellent condition. Both pieces have light handwear and scratching. The fountain pen has moderate scratching at the top of the cap. The clip has brassing and plating wear around the ball end, but is otherwise quite nice. The cap band has some small shallow dents, but is largely in good shape with no visible brassing. The lever has plating wear along the edges. The pearl bits have ambered a bit, but the iridescence is still visible. The imprint is crisp and clear. The pencil also looks good, with no large scratches. The clip and cap band have minimal brassing. The nose cone has a bit of brassing near the top. The color is stronger and less faded than the pen. Imprints on both pieces are crisp and clear.
Both pieces are personalized on the cap bands with the initials "F L B". In Sheaffer clamshell box.
