Product Name Sovereign, from the Snorkel line. One of the less common snorkel models, it has a steel lined cap with a gold filled clip, no cap band.
Manufacturer and Year Sheaffer, made in USA -- 1952-9.
Length 5-9/16".
Filling System Snorkel filler. We've restored it with a new sac, O-ring, and point gasket.
Color Beige with a steel cap that has a pattern of straight lines surrounding a line with little peaks on it, and gold clip.
Nib MEDIUM two-tone M3 14k open nib, 14k with palladium masking.
Condition Very nice condition with no cracks or chips. This is a pretty, shiny pen in a light and attractive color. The cap and barrel both have moderate to heavy scratching. The cap has a shallow dent at the very top peak. The clip has a lot of microscratching. The barrel imprint is difficult to read but it can be done with magnification. The cap imprint is clear.
