Filling System Hatchet Filler. It is a different form of the lever filler. A blind cap is unscrewed to release the lever. The blind cap spins in place and only allows the lever to move in one directly. The blind cap becomes part of the lever and acts as a handle for the cutting motion that fills the sac. A new sac has been installed and it's working well.
Color Black chased hard rubber (BCHR) with a wavy pattern for the chasing.
Nib FLEXIBLE MEDIUM Crocker #5 14k nib. The tines spread easily for strong line variation. Please see the writing sample below.
Condition Superior condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a long pen in pure black with well-preserved chasing. The barrel has marks caused by the cap lip. The cap has small bite marks at the very top. The lever has plating wear. All the imprints are crystal clear and in white. There is a clear L-50 at the end of the barrel.
