Product Description
Type Handblown glass fountain pen
Product Name unknown
Manufacturer and Year D. Nore, early 2000s
Length 5-7/8"
Filling System Cartridge/converter
Color Clear Green glass, with a hint of yellow. Silver-colored rings on the cap and barrel to make an 11/16" band around the pen. Black plastic section.
Nib MEDIUM Schmidt steel nib.
Condition Excellent condition. No dents, dings, or more importantly, no cracks or chips. There is a scratch on the back end, probably from an attempt at posting the cap (which suggests there might be a coating on the glass). We do not recommend posting it, to prevent further damage, or shattering the barrel. Did we mention that this pen is made of glass?
D. Nore is more known for making hand-blown glass dip pens, but there are a very (VERY) few of these fountain pens out there. You'll want to be careful with this one, because it is made of glass, and may not be hardened (think: not Pyrex) enough to survive a drop.
