Type Modern luxury fountain pen
Product Name Dolce Vita Stantuffo Star Collection. This was a collaboration between Delta and Chatterley Pens, and was based on Delta's Dolcevita Oversize model. Only 23 pens were made, and this one is inscribed as number 23/23. MSRP was $695.
Manufacturer and Year Delta, Italy -- 2010s.
Length 5-9/16" and fat, we consider this an oversize pen.
Filling System Piston-filling system. As is typical with Delta pens, the piston system clicks when the plunger is fully retracted.
Color Deep Sea - dark, rich, pearlescent blues with swirks of black, like you might see in the ocean depths. Engraved vermeil cap ring, and gold-plated trim.
Nib STUB 14k nib. It is Delta's factory stub nib, and very smooth.
Condition Excellent condition, in box with papers. There is a shallow scratch on the barrel, about 1/2" long, and we've included a picture that focuses on that area. Other than that, the pen looks fantastic with only very light microscratching. The trim is perfect, with no scratching, polishing marks, or brassing or plating wear. The pen ships in its display box with paperwork, but the bottle of ink is no longer present. No cracks or chips.
