Condition Excellent condition, in velveteen-lined box, with paperwork and a bottle of ink. This is a beautiful pen with classic Italian design and coloring. The cap has some microscratching on both the main part and top finial. The clip looks good. There is also scratching on the edges of the stylized sterling cap band. There are a couple of small scratches on the ivory-colored portion of the barrel, but overall the barrel is fairly smooth and shiny. The box has some dings, but is overall in good shape. The cardboard sleeve also shows signs of use and has a tear on one corner. The imprints are all crisp and clear.
We had to remanufacture and replace the cap lip. When we acquired the pen the cap lip had some serious scratches and cracks, but we were able to replicate a new part to replace the damaged portion.
