Product Description
Type Modern custom fountain pen in box
Product Name Herald, it is similar to the Nouveau Premiere but is shorter and less pointed. Edison Pens made a comparison photo of the two pens. They also included a detailed text breakdown of the differences in the same thread. The easiest way to identify the pen though is by the clip.
Manufacturer and Year Edison Pen Company, USA -- Circa 2012, 2012 is when this model joined the production line, but it's no longer part of it.
Length 5-7/8" capped (they make a larger version of this pen called the Grand Herald, but this is the standard size).
Filling System Takes international cartridges and converters. A piston converter is installed.
Color Amber tortoise acrylic. It's semi-transparent and is a mix of yellow, brown, and red. Gold colored trim.
Nib Extra Fine two-tone steel nib. Edison tends to tune their nibs to be wet writers so it might not write as finely as expected. We can install a non-imprinted #6 JoWo nib if you'd prefer something other than the Edison branded extra fine, just send us a message after purchasing.
Condition Excellent + condition. The clip looks great and the acrylic has pretty much no handwear. The imprint is also clear. However, there are faint green-ish ink stains in the section and the cap. It's noticeable when the barrel is removed from the section and when the cap is held up to the light.
