Type Lever filling desk fountain pen set, restored and working well.
Product Name The base is unmarked. The pen is the early lever fill version with the "R Esterbrook" imprint.
Manufacturer and Year Esterbrook, made in USA -- circa 1950s.
Dimensions Pen is 7-5/8 inches long, the base is about 2-1/4 inches tall and about 3-1/2 inches across.
Filling System Lever filler. We've restored it with a new sac and it's working very well.
Color Black body and taper with steel or nickel plated trim. The base is the oval "8-ball" style rounded black glass.
Nib The Esterbrook Nib is a 2442 or a "Falcon Stub." It writes like a fine with a subtle italic, and has a left oblique cut. The nib is smooth with lots of tipping material.
Condition Both pen and base are in excellent condition with no cracks, dings, dents, or personalization. There are some light scratches on the barrel. The base is lovely with no flaws. The pen has been fully restored and it's working very well.
