Product Description
Type | fountain pen, lever filler |
Product Name | Esterbrook Transitional J |
Manufacturer and Year | Esterbrook, USA, 1950s |
Length | 5" |
Filling System | Lever filler (new bladder installed, works great). |
Color | Grey with chrome trim in Esterbrook's interesting ripple wood-like grain pattern. |
Nib | #2314-M steel nib -- Originally labeled as a Relief Medium Stub nib, but it's clear that this one is more of a left oblique. It's quite smooth. |
Condition | Very nice condition with a little very minor scratching, specifically in the cap. The jap jewel looks a little damaged, as if it's been exposed to heat just a little bit (see photos). The clip stands a bit away from the cap. This is quite a nice pen, and it's fitted with a somewhat rare nib. |
