Product Name Skyline .... this is the hard-to-find gold filled "Dart" pattern set
Manufacturer and Year Eversharp, USA -- 1942.
Length The full size fountain pen measures 5-1/4" and the pencil measures 5-3/16".
Filling System The fountain pen has a lever filling system. We replaced the sac and it's working well. The pencil has a clicker mechanism to extend and retract the leads. It takes 0.9mm or "thin" leads.
Color 1/10th 14k gold filled pen and pencil with lengthwise lines interrupted with a "dart" pattern.
Nib MANIFOLD FINE 14k nib. It's firm with good tipping and feels smooth.
Condition Excellent + condition. Both pieces have strong clear patterning and look great in hand. The fountain pen has a very shallow impression on the cap that can only be seen from a certain angle. The nib has some patina on the top surface near the nib slit, but that shouldn't affect the writing performance. The pencil has a few marks on the smooth parts of the trim. The cone is brassed, and the cone imprint looks good. The fountain pen is fully restored and both pieces are working well.
Set is packaged in box that's in excellent condition - the outer velvet is thick and smooth, just some slight wear along the edges. The original guarantee certificate is also included, signed by the dealer and dated December 8, 1942.
