Product Description
Type Vintage fountain pen in very nice working condition
Product Name Unknown
Manufacturer and Year Goodyear Pen Co. Cinncinatti, Ohio
Length 5-7/16"
Filling System Coin filler - working perfectly with a new sac, guaranteed for one year. (It works like a lever filler, but instead of using the lever to depress the ink sac, you use a coin and press it in the slot when the nib is in ink). Coin not included!
Color Black chased hard rubber. The pen did not have a clip.
Nib FLEXIBLE FINE Warranted 14k #2 nib. It's fairly smooth, with tipping still remaining. Very flexible, with nice line variation. It goes from a fine line to a broad or double broad without very much pressure. Close to full flex. See writing sample.
Condition Excellent condition. There are a few light scratches on the pen and some hand wear. The color is really beautiful and does not appear to have faded at all, which is quite rare for black hard rubber pens of this age. No cracks or chips, and the chasing is fairly crisp. The imprint is just a little worn, but quite readable. Restored and working well.
