Manufacturer and Year Joseph Lipic Pen Co., St Louis, Missouri (probably from the 1930s). The company was also known as Readyrite Pen Company, which may explain the "R" on the clip.

Filling System Lever filler, restored with a new rubber sac.
Color Black celluloid or plastic. Gold filled trim.
Nib FINE. 14k gold nib is in excellent condition, very smooth.
Condition Excellent condition. Very light handwear. The black color is very strong, with no visible fading. The top of the cap has some shallow tooth marks. The clip has light plating wear along the sides, and some brassing around the ball end. There is some brassing on the upper edges of the cap rings. The barrel has very light horizontal rings from capping. The lever bar has plating wear and small dots of pitting on it. The imprint is clear and easily read. The end of the barrel has some shallow tooth marks. It has been restored with a new sac and the filling system is working well.
