Product Name Lamy 2000
Manufacturer and Year Lamy, Germany -- Lamy introduced this pen in 1966 and has made minimal changes to the pen over the years. It's hard to date them though because the older features still appear in newer pens on occasion. This pen has the later clip, but with the W Germany imprint from earlier production and it has a Lamy imprint on the side of the clip, something introduced later on. The section is two-tone and it has an L at the end of the barrel. Both of these features were in the original version of the Lamy 2000 but not the later ones. It also has a high gloss finish which was an older feature.

Filling System Piston filling system. We've tested it and it's working well.
Color Black Makrolon (polycarbonate plastic reinforced with fiberglass). It has a stainless steel clip and a high gloss finish that gives the pen a satin look.
Nib FINE 14k gold which has been plated with platinum. The section is engraved, "F." It's very smooth, with excellent tipping. The section around the feed is uneven.
Condition Excellent pre-owned condition. No cracks or chips. There's some black staining in the silver colored section. Signs of light usage only.
