Product Description
Type Fountain pen
Product Name The piston knob calls it 46FK and the barrel calls it a Lamy Ratio.
Manufacturer and Year Lamy, Germany -- 1960s.
Length 5-1/4"
Filling System Piston filler. It's fully tested and is working well.
Color Black cap, barrel and section with circle cut outs as a viewing window. Silver clip and trim. Black top jewel.
Nib FINE Steel Nib. The nib itself is unmarked, but the piston knob calls it an "FK." The F stands for fine and the K stands for kugel. This indicates that it's a round tipped medium nib and is meant to be a smoother writer than non-K nibs.
Condition Excellent + condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a velvety black, shiny pen that is small and light. The cap and barrel have light to moderate microscratching. The viewing windows have some ink residue. The simple cap band has a few microscratches; it looks nice. The clip and clip ring have light microscratching. The clip ring has a bit of plating wear on the lower edge. The black top jewel is excellent. The nib has some ink blobs on it (see photos). The imprints are clear.
