Type Vintage ring top fountain pen.
Product Name Unknown, telescoping ring top pen.
Manufacturer and Year Leroy Fairchild, New York. Late 1910s - there's a patent date on May 30, 1916 at the end of the barrel.
Length 3-1/2" collapsed and 4-1/2" extended. The cap posts, and makes the pen about 4-3/4" long collapsed, and 5-7/8" when extended.
Filling System Eyedropper filler. We will include an eyedropper kit when we ship the pen.
Color 14k solid gold over black hard rubber, with grouped lines separated by blank spaces.
Nib FINE FLEXIBLE #3 nib. These Fairchild nibs are excellent in terms of flex. Please see writing sample below.
Condition Excellent + condition. The gold cap and barrel have microscratching and some small surface marks, but no significant dents or dings. The ringtop hardware looks great. There is light scratching on the section. No personalization. The imprints are clear.
