Filling System Twist filler. You twist the knob on the end of the barrel and it pushes a pressure bar down to squeeze the sac. We've restored it and it's working very well. We'll include instructions on filling the pen. We guarantee the filling system for a year from the date of purchase.
Color Black celluloid with gold plated trim. Two thin gold cap bands.
Nib FLEXIBLE MEDIUM Swan #2 14k nib is in beautiful condition, smooth with great tipping material. It's nicely flexible and soft feeling, with easy line variation from a medium to broad or double broad. See writing sample below.
Condition Excellent condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a classic shiny, black pen of average size. The barrel has moderate scratching, with some heavier scratching and bite marks toward the end of the barrel. The section and end knob are faded to a deep brown (probably made of ebonite). The cap has light to moderate scratching, with tooth marks around the top of the cap. The clip has brassing around the ball end, but the rest of the clip looks quite good. The cap rings have some brassing and plating wear along the edges. The disc set into the top of the cap has some plating wear. This being a Swan made in England, there are multiple imprints. The "Swan" on the feed is quite faded, and can just barely be made out. The other "Swan" imprints on the top of the cap, the nib, and the section are clear. The barrel imprint is clear, and the "L212/60" imprint at the end of the barrel is also clear in spite of the bite marks.
