Product Name Swan Minor. SM2/60 (the model number is visible on the end of the barrel).
Manufacturer and Year Mabie Todd & Co., England -- circa 1930s.
Length 5-5/16"
Filling System Lever filler. We've restored it with a new sac and it's working well.
Color Black with a pattern of fine lengthwise lines. We don't think this is hard rubber, it's probably celluloid. Black lever. There is no cap band or clip, giving the pen a sleek appearance. Steel clip with a ball end.
Nib Fine or medium Warranted 1st Quality 14k gold nib. Modest flexibility. See our writing sample in the photos.
Condition Excellent condition with no cracks. The barrel has marks caused by the cap lip and some moderate scratching. There is heavier scratching and some bite marks near the end of the barrel. The cap has moderate to heavy scratching, and the lines are smoothed down quite a bit. There are a lot of small bite marks near the top of the cap. The clip has a lot of scratching that dulls the appearance. The imprints are clear.
