Nib FINE nib is marked Swan 14ct Mabie Todd & Co Made in USA. It's semi-flexible and in nice condition, smooth with nice tipping material. With a little pressure the line will go from fine to broad.
Condition Excellent condition. There are a few tiny nicks and light scratches on the cap and barrel. Just tiny spots of brassing on the ridges of the top piece and a little wear on the upper barrel where the cap lip rubs it when you screw on the cap, but the imprint there is still readable (see photos). No cracks or chips and no real dents. Fully restored and working well.
The barrel is engraved "A.J.A." or "A.J.D." (see photos). Please note that the reddish-brown lines in the close-up photos are a reflection.
